Program Overview

The Holistic Massage Training Program at Albuquerque School of Healing Arts is a state-accredited, 700-hour holistic massage therapy training program designed for aspiring massage therapists and holistic bodyworkers. ASHA’s curriculum is built to exceed New Mexico’s massage therapy licensure requirements and prepares students for Board Certification (NCBTMB) and the national MBLEx exam. The learning environment is supportive and inclusive, blending massage modalities with holistic health principles.

Program Schedule Options

ASHA offers two primary scheduling formats to suit different needs:

  • Start: April 13, 2026
  • Completion: March 2027
  • Classes are held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 6:00–9:00 pm & a handful of select Saturdays, 9:30a–5:00p
  • Hours: 560 classroom + 140 student clinic.
  • Holiday and seasonal breaks are included 
  • Enrollment Deadline: April 7th, 2026.
  • Start: September 2026
  • Completion: May 2027
  • Classes are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9:30 am–5:00 pm.
  • Hours: 560 classroom + 140 student clinic.
  • Holiday and seasonal breaks included
  • Enrollment Deadline: August 25, 2026.

Both programs are part-time to allow students to work, study, or care for family while completing training.

G.  Student Clinical Practicum

Clinical Training Experience

Students complete 140 hours in the student clinic as part of graduation requirements. This experience provides supervised real-world practice with paying clients, enhancing professional confidence and skill application. After graduating from ASHA students are fully prepared to begin working as a massage therapist.

Tuition, Fees & Financial Information

Investment Breakdown

  • Enrollment Fee: $500 (non-refundable)
  • Program Tuition: $12,000.00
  • Books & Supply Fee: $1,000
  • Subtotal: $13,500 (plus New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax)

Notes on Payment

  • A 10% discount applies if full tuition is paid 30 days before classes begin.
  • Interest-free payment plans and in-house scholarships/work-study options are available by inquiry.
  • ASHA does not participate in FAFSA or any federal financial aid program.
  • ASHA is a WIOA eligible provider, supporting access to training and employment services – you may qualify for $9k of financial aid – See flyer on the last page

Admissions & Enrollment Process Admissions

If you have questions and want to see the school before applying, book a tour with us by emailing info@ashanm.com.

To begin the admissions process:

  1. Submit an online application with a non-refundable $100 application fee.
  2. ASHA will contact you to schedule an interview and enrollment meeting (in person, phone, or Zoom).
  3. After acceptance, you must sign the Enrollment Agreement and pay the Enrollment and Book & Supply Fees to secure your spot.
  4. You are enrolled!

Student Policies & Refund

ASHA maintains a formal refund policy based on the portion of the program completed at the time of withdrawal:

  • After completion of one week – 90% refund
  • After completion of two weeks – 80% refund
  • After completion of three weeks – 70% refund
  • After completion of four weeks – 50% refund
  • After completion of five weeks – 25% refund
  • After six weeks – 10% refund
  • After seven weeks – no refund and full tuition due

*If a monthly payment plan has been chosen and student withdrawals after the 7 week mark, the remaining payments are due on the original schedule.
